Schedule: This position is scheduled to work at least 40 hours per week Monday - Friday, day shift and includes being on callwhen the hospital pharmacy is closed.
As a full time, exempt Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Director of Pharmacy atJoint Township District MemorialHospitalin St Marys, Ohio, youwill oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws with the assistance from Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs with assistance from a full support team.

The hospital is licensed for 131 beds and provides area residentsAcute Medical/Surgical, Intensive Care, Obstetrics, Infusion and Geriatric Psychiatric Services.Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS.
About the Pharmacy: The decentralized Pharmacy utilizesAllscripts andPyxis ES.Pharmacy Services include renal, kinetic and anticoagulationdosing, as well as patient rounding services.The Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 6:30am to7pm, and weekends (both Saturday and Sunday), as well as holidays from 8am to 4pm. CPS TELEpharmacy provides remote order entry services while the pharmacy is closed.
BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
OhioPharmacist licensure in good standing
Management experience in a healthcare/hospital environment.
Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility.
Demonstrated teaching, relevant professional publications and involvement with Professional organizations.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other staff.
(PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months
(MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
(Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
