Overview





The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available network solutions. This position has a large focus on scripting and automation efforts for public cloud. We expect this Network Engineer 4 to be able to assist in mentoring other members of the team and contribute the continuous development of others. What you will be doing





Lead the design system configuration, direct system installation, define, document and enforce system standards to establish networking environment.
Secures network system by establishing procedures and access while defining additional controls as necessary
Develop and implement incident response processes and solutions
Operate as the customers"trusted advisor" to diagnose complex system issues with multiple influencing factors.
Develop and implement recovery procedures for systems.
Ensure consistency with documentation for network systems and procedures.
Partner with respective departments to develop network systems to support the strategy of new applications or customer solutions
Operate as a innovative thought leader and independently implement effective and successful changes to processes or technology.
Present documentation for audits of network devices to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines.
Mentor, coach and train other team members.
Participate in professional associations, outreach activities, or appropriate educational opportunities to stay current on industry best practices and relevant technical skills.
Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy



What will make you successful





Bachelors Degree in related field
7 plus Years Experience
Expertise in Microsoft products
Expertise in Linux operating systems
CCNP Preferrred
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Driven to learn and stay current with technology
Excellent collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
Ability to work outside of normal business hours (evenings, weekends, etc)
Expertise in route, switch, and firewall technologies
Expertise in load balancing technologies
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the pricipal duties of the job
Travel up to 10%
