Position responsibilities will include the following:
Work closely with end users to identify GIS requirements, technical issues and training needs; analyze current business processes and recommend best practice solutions; construct information technology definitions based on identified needs of the installation
Create and maintain GIS data in an enterprise environment, managing a versioned, multi-user geodatabase
Develop and document data QA/QC procedures; perform data QA/QC
Develop and document data migration processes using ESRI and non-ESRI tools; migrate data from ESRI and non-ESRI source media to ESRI geodatabases
Prepare, plan, produce, maintain and update a variety of maps, drawings, plans and other graphic representations displaying layers and attribute data from databases, using cartographic techniques to represent spatial data; develop and maintain data layers, using GIS tools and relational databases; enter attribute data pertaining to specific features into a relational database
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure project objectives (scope, schedule, budget) are met in accordance with established metrics
Complete assigned project tasks such as business analysis, system configuration, documentation, create configuration, implementation and training guides
Work with project management team to identify impediments and develop / implement solutions to overcome obstacles
Participate in team and milestone meetings
Perform other job duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree and four (4) years geospatial experience,
Extensive knowledge and experience using ESRI ArcGIS software and tools such as ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, Model Builder, Python, etc.
Proficiency with server-side software to include Internet Information Server (IIS), ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server
Excellent communication and consulting skills with emphasis on stakeholder engagement
Proven experience providing excellent customer service
Strong technical proficiency required, including Microsoft Office products
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment
Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals
