Job Description


Leads and implements supply chain strategy for the company


  1. Plan and implement an overall supply chain strategy
  2. Analyze data to identify areas of operational improvement
  3. Measure the performance of supply chain and report to management
  4. Recommend or implement changes to the organization’s purchasing, supply management and material/inventory management policies
  5. Collaborate with other departments
  6. Build and maintain relationship with customers and suppliers
  7. Ensure compliance with federal and state laws
  8. Perform all duties in a safe manner
  9. Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field

5 years’ experience preferred

Basic Skill and Ability Requirements:

  1. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  2. Previous experience with Department of Defense and Military Service Supply, recommended
  3. Strong knowledge of logistics management information systems
  4. Solid interpersonal skills with experience in customer/supplier relations
  5. Self-motivated: Process/results oriented
  6. Problem solving skills required
  7. Statistical training /experience desired
  8. Able to handle multiple assignments under extreme time constraints and high stress conditions
  9. Must have strong work ethic, sense of urgency and a high energy level
  10. Self-starter: bias for action, results oriented
  11. Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
  12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office application, required
  13. Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends to meet business needs
  14. Ability to work with a diversified work force
