The Security Supervisor is responsible for providing a safe and secure hotel environment for our guests and associates through effective leadership to our security team. This position supervises security guards to enforce security policies and procedures in accordance with hotel guidelines and ensure compliance to all local, state and federal regulations. Must manage budget/cost effectively, assist in training of all colleagues in emergency procedure preparedness and protect hotel assets. Responsible for the day to day operation and may also assist in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures.
*Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
*2-3 years prior supervisory position in security/law enforcement, hotel preferred.
*Strong report writing of investigations and incidents
*The ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical data.
*Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office to perform budgeting, payroll, and other communications.
*Demonstrated ability to lead, direct and motivate staff.
*Knowledgeable of fire, security, and keyless access systems.
*Requires grasping, extensive walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, smelling and visual acuity
