Description
Responsible for operations, clinical, financial, HR of the UH Home Care sites ensuring standards of care, quality outcomes are achieved by staff. Directly manages nursing, support staff inc performance expecs, ed, training. Develops process improvements, monitors clinical flow of pt scheduling, wait times, billing, HR utilization. Works with med team, physicians, pharmacists, NPs in care planning, delivery through treatment. Responsible for the  pts exper assureing pts receive treatment, care, serv necessary for health, well being. Develops, monitors, adherence to budget, develops rev growth initiatives, expense red, capital mgmt activities. Develops, implements eff nursing field staff ed, orient, cont ed, skill training using teaching, learning techs to enhance the age specific quality of care, the professional development of nursing. Trains RN staff to conduct orient, ongoing staff ed classroom, field of Infusion practices procedures inc annual competencies for nurses, pharmacists. Works with referral sources for complex pts both adult, pediatric with infusion needs. Creates, reviews, revises infusion policies utilizing INS standards, CDC guidelines. Works with clinical ed to create, revise infusion documentation templates in system, agency EMR. Works with pharmacy peers in eval, processing new drugs ensuring safety of pts. Participates in system, agency QAPI initiatives, infec control as relates to infusion. Trains RN staff to conduct orient, staff ed classroom, field of Infusion practices proced inc annual competencies for nurses, pharmacists. Qualifications

Experience & Knowledge:
Five years of progressive clinical and/or management experience.
Three years of IV therapy experience in acute, post-acute.
Medicare Part B infusion experience preferred.
Staff education experience preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work assignments.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with various disciplines at different organization levels.

Required Credentials:
Registered nurse with current license to practice in the State of Ohio.
Completes continuing professional education requirements to maintain registration.
Certified Registered Nurse Intravenous (CRNI) certification preferred.
CPR certification within a month of hire.
