This position will be responsible for leading the global Professional and Clinical Education programs, and for providing strategic insight, guidance, and leadership for worldwide Professional and Clinical Education initiatives.  The role will oversee both our external physician training programs, our internal and external clinical education initiatives and our internal sales and clinical support training and initiatives for all areas and divisions of the company.



Develop, oversee, and/or guide the global Professional and Clinical Education strategy, policies and programs for all sectors if the company.  This includes but is not limited to:  Concomitant and Hybrid ablation and left atrial appendage management, Cryo never block and Electrophysiology.

Identify key opinion leaders (KOLs) and education advisory board members to evaluate physician training opportunities, translate these opportunities to physician training programs/courses and to develop tools for assessing the impact of these activities on attendees.  

Oversee the organization and leadership of education steering committees comprised of key opinion leaders (KOLs) to help individuals at all experience levels learn more about the surgical and hybrid treatments of Atrial Fibrillation and left atrial appendage management.

Oversee the design and development of curriculum, professional development resources, clinical programs and physician courses

Oversee and participate in building relationships with key physician societies and other AF advocacy entities to build support for physician awareness and training consistent with our educational objectives. 

Develop and maintain a network of physician faculty to execute programs as well as keep them current on all approved course content. 

Develop and manage the department budget to ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of educational programs, services and activities to achieve strategic and financial objectives

Monitor educational program progress and conduct ongoing education needs assessments

Lead, manage, and develop the global Clinician Training and Internal Education teams. Ensure that the training & education function meets the needs of the business expansion strategy for all global markets.

Bachelor's degree required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Expertise in the atrial fibrillation and/or Left Atrial Appendage Management (LAAM) space

Strong clinical acumen

Must be a collaborative leader with proven experience in leading and mentoring global clinical education teams while building quality and service initiatives which are highly responsive to organization needs and expectations
 Very hands-on in defining objectives and producing deliverables in a fast-paced environment

Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels

Action-oriented self-starter, with the ability to operate with a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality

Excellent project management and analytical skills

Comfortable driving multiple initiatives at a rapid pace, making thoughtful recommendations with available data

Active, high-energy communicator who drives a company vision/mission to align teams, critical resources, management, and stakeholders

Creative thinker with exceptional process, analytical, management and relationship skills

Experience in strategic planning and collaboration with executive and key operational groups

Accomplished in building a strong link between the company and awareness of the needs of our customers

Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written), organization, interpersonal and presentation skills

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint) and be able to develop comprehensive reports and analyses

Ability to travel up to 50%
