Overview of the Position:

The Fighters and Bombers Directorate researches, develops, produces, tests, acquires, fields, sustains, and modernizes existing and advanced war-winning capabilities, on-time, on-cost, of the Fighters and Bombers (F/B) portfolio of the US while supporting coalition partners. The Directorate also identifies, coordinates, and implements horizontal integration/capability planning across portfolio weapon systems in support of AF Concept of Operations (CONOPs).

MCR Federal has an opportunity for a Senior Test Manager for the Fighters and Bombers Directorate, B-2 Division support at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio. The ideal candidate may be required to work flexible hours to include overtime. The duties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:

Position Description:

Provide onsite support as determined by the Program Manager for developmental and operational testing, including planning meetings and test execution;

Apply military aircraft operational knowledge and experience in order to identify operational and logistical impacts and translate operational requirements into contractual Statements of Work (SOWs);

Apply experience in U.S. military aircraft with an in-depth understanding of operational employment and weapons capabilities as well as the software development process;

Assist with development of project cost estimates, having knowledge of the system engineering process, and project configuration management requirements;

Utilize systems integration and current configuration knowledge;

Develop and coordinate with appropriate test agencies Flight Test Program Schedules that support the program's Integrated Master Schedules;

Represent the program on the Integrate Test Team and coordinate appropriate test resources to support test requirements;

Apply expertise in avionics subsystem integration including but not limited to fire control systems, stores management, displays, navigation systems, data links, electronic warfare defensive equipment, and communications;

Apply knowledge of test infrastructure including U.S. government test aircraft configurations, instrumentation and test capabilities, and contractor flight test capabilities;

Apply knowledge of the Operational Flight Program (OFP) development and testing processes and translating requirements into executable programs;

Support the management of risk, cost, schedule, and performance of the test programs for OFP development;

Apply integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning expertise to technical and acquisition efforts;

Support studies and analysis of tradeoffs for incorporation of potential capabilities in future development efforts;

Assist in establishing, directing, and leading technical interchange meetings and working groups, serving as a liaison between the customer and the program office;

Manage and coordinate Program Introduction Documents and Statements of Capability with the Air Force Test Center;

Submits monthly status reports and other information as requested;

Perform occasional travel to contractor and customer sites, as required.

Required Qualifications:

Current Top Secret/SCI clearance

BA/BS degree and 15years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD; or an Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD; or 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the functionally aligned Job description, 8 of which must be in the DoD

Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting program management tasks related to developmental and operational test and evaluation of acquisition and modernization programs

Minimum of 5 years of experience leading people and managing programs

Mustbe proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other standard (Customer specified) applications
