The Structural Engineer-in-Training will be part of a collaborative design team working on new construction and renovation projects. This individual will have a desire to pursue career development to excellence in structural engineering. This individual is expected to build experience toward professional licensure. Our Structural Engineer-in-Training possess an entrepreneurial spirit which produces excellent working relationships with multi-disciplinary teams to design and deliver world-class buildings.
Implements and utilizes Woolpert Best Practices for projects and processes
Develops engineering excellence through building experience with increasingly complex engineering assignments
Generate and work with 3D models for member analysis and design
Models structural designs utilizing Revit and CAD
Works independently on design projects and interface with other disciplines on projects
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures or Architectural Engineering
Master's Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures or Architectural Engineering highly preferred.
Above average proficiency in Revit
Is certified as an Engineering Intern (FE) or has the ability to become certified
Microsoft Office Proficiency required
Ability to work with a cross functional team
Desire to learn and willingness to take instruction to develop engineering technical excellence
Self-starter capable of working in a fast paced, customer order driven environment, expected to meet timelines
