Responsible for screening and evaluating youth who have committed an offense, and providing referral and linkage to needed community services in order to divert youth from formal court involvement.

Bachelor degree in social work, criminal justice, psychology, education or a related field. At least two (2) years relevant work experience required; three (3) plus years preferred; or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Prior experience in mental health and drug/alcohol treatment systems is preferred.
Must be a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age; have a valid driver’s license; and submit to a pre-employment screening (including physical exam, psychological exam, TB screen, drug screen,) a criminal record check and in-depth reference check. In this position there is a high probability of experiencing situations that involve an elevated stress level while dealing with violent or uncooperative youth.
