About the team

As FIS grows, our need for a skilled and seasoned collection team grows. Being a player in the payments processing industry requires a savvy team of experts who can easily navigate delinquent accounts in accordance with departmental, investor, and legal guidelines, ensuring attainment of company goals.

What you will be doing

The Finance Shared Services Associate Senior is detail-oriented while checking and verifying outstanding account balances. FIS's fast, continued growth means as our systems become more complex, our need for detail-oriented people to keep our business operating efficiently deepens. Daily activities may include

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts utilizing work queue:
Collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast-paced goal-oriented collections department
Enlist the efforts of Relationship Managers when necessary to accelerate the collection process
Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts
Provide customer service regarding collection issues, review account adjustments, and resolve client discrepancies

What you bring:

High school diploma or GED required

Prior collections experience preferred

Excellent customer service skills (verbal and written)

Intermediate computer navigation and operation skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Demonstrate effective people skills and sensitivities when dealing with others
