Job Description

Kimball Midwest is searching for Product Line Specialist in our Columbus, OH location. We are looking for an individual who is willing to learn and grow with Kimball Midwest.

The Product Line Specialist will be responsible for: identifying and researching new products; generating new product sales; present new items at meetings; providing excellent customer service and product support to the field sales reps; reviewing purchasing activity to identify products that should be in our line and updating the Company website for the new products.


This position requires a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, physical science or other related area
This position requires working knowledge of the role of the expediter in the distribution of aftermarket products to industrial, automotive, fleet, construction, commercial, institutional, and governmental markets
This position requires a working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, other desktop publishing or related products
This position requires the ability to respond quickly to problems, and the ability to work in a stressful environment
This position requires the ability to actively listen to questions or feedback from other parties and to communicate ideas accurately, effectively, and respectfully with co-workers, supervisors, managers, all field personnel, customers and suppliers
The position requires the ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to understand written and oral instructions
This position requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions
This position requires the appearance in videos, pictures, and other media created for publishing along with a signed Model Consent and Release form
