Responsible for developing, executing and maintaining automated and manual test scripts. Should be familiar with standard software development, testing methodology, and package implementation strategies. Will work with application / project teams to utilize the defined testing methodology, work products, templates, and procedures.
Analyze, coordinate and track QA testing efforts throughout project life cycle; including an executive dashboard to communicate testing status and results
Develop automated and manual test scripts based upon the identified test scenarios.
Update and maintain automated test scripts in designated automated testing tool.
Manages the development of test conditions and scenarios required to validate system functionality
Manages the development of expected results of testing events
Manages the automated execution of the tests and coordinates verification of actual results
Ensures that appropriate documentation is completed and compiled
Reviews technical designs, mock-ups, scripts, and other work products for new functionality/features
Participate in department process improvement initiatives
Applies and upholds software QA methodologies and standards Review, track and validate software requirement documentation for testing traceability and coverage
Act in the capacity of department SME for testing efforts to support and expedite testing
Performs system admin duties associated with maintaining the automated testing tool.
Performs other duties as required

Experience & Knowledge:
3 years as software Tester / QA analyst experience required.
Experience in scripting skills in at least one language.
Experience with eggPlant tools or other test automation tools.
Must be detail-oriented and organized, with good analytical and problem solving ability.
Notable client service, communication and relationship building skills required.
Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment required.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Load and performance testing experience
Experience with mobile test automation desired.
Special Skills & Equipment Knowledge:
Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office suite and general office equipment (i.e., printers, copy machine, FAX machine, etc.) required.
Disaster Recovery testing experience preferred
Knowledge of LAN, DNS, and networking.
Advanced MAC OS X, Windows, and/or Linux skills desired
Ability to work with servers and apply software upgrades.
Knowledge and experience with HL7 Interfaces desired
High School Deploma / GED required
Bachelor degree, preferably in Computer Science or other related technical field, preferred
