Avient is seeking an experienced systems engineer with at least three years of experience managing a large scale Azure Cloud / O365 environment and related technologies. This role provides an opportunity for a motivated individual to work on IT related projects in a professional, global environment with exposure to a broad spectrum of technologies managed by Avient's Enterprise Infrastructure Team, as well as supporting our business partners. This individual will play a critical role on the Enterprise Infrastructure Team, particularly around Microsoft O365 tenant management, system design and implementation, technical and user documentation, automation & scripting, and leading medium to large scale projects within the IT organization.
Assist with the planning, design, and global implementation of new technologies
Responsible for the operations and maintenance of systems that fall under the Enterprise Infrastructure Team
Recognizes and identifies areas where existing policies can be improved upon or require change, and where new ones need to be developed
Stays up to speed on existing and emerging technologies, and is continuously seeking out areas of improvement
Partners with global IT team to assist with system design and implementation, troubleshooting, and project management
Responsible for management & enhancement of global Azure Cloud / O365 environment
Must partner closely with Enterprise Security Team to ensure systems are protected, and vulnerabilities are remediated
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and General Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience in managing large scale IT Infrastructure environments
Technical Skills and Experience
3+ years' managing Azure Cloud / O365 resources, licensing, securities, and identity
System design and configuration
Windows Operating Systems
Azure Active Directory
Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online
AWS / Google Cloud (optional)
