Overview





The Compliance Analyst is responsible for implementing and maintaining Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs for the company's cloud based business



What you will be doing





Develop, maintain, and review policies and procedures in alignment with the current GRC program requirements
Apply project management methodologies to conduct projects related to the GRC program.
Conduct risk analysis and mitigation processes using industry accepted risk management methodologies (e.g. ISO 31000).
Document controls resulting from risk management activities.
Perform internal audits to assess the company's posture against regulatory and industry standards such as HIPAA, NIST, SOC, and ISO 27001.
Review findings resulting from internal/external audits to develop mitigation plans.
Track mitigation activities with control owners across the department.
Communicate directly with others in the company and with all levels of management on the GRC program including issues or third-party findings.
Perform monitoring of critical processes to detect potential issues with compliance.
Work with third-party auditors to perform compliance assessments audits.
Respond to security questionnaires and inquiries regarding the company's compliance program for its cloud-based business.
Educate control owners within the business unit on their responsibilities regarding compliance procedures and requirements, including evidence collection, risk documentation, and other procedural information.
Support investigations regarding audit findings, policy deviations, and incident handling activities.
Provide guidance on best practices, industry trends, and upcoming regulatory changes in regards to improving the control environment.
 Provide guidance and training to other team members.
Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy



What will make you successful





Bachelor's Degree
Microsoft Office proficient
Significant experience working with audit firms
Significant experience with software, IT, and cloud computing security and compliance principles, controls, and frameworks
Experience with risk analysis and mitigation strategies
Able to thrive in a fast paced environment
Speak or write with ease, clarity and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
Excellent critical thinking, research, and problem solving skills
Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
Excellent collaborative skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
Sharp, fast learner with a technology curiosity and aptitude
Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and appropriately escalate issues for guidance
Demonstrated ability to operate at the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and forthrightness
Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate and mobilize team members and business partners
Experience providing guidance and support to developing team members
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
