Our Opening and Your Responsibilities


                                   
                                        We are hiring a Software Test Coordinator in Columbus, OH to provide expert quality assurance services by testing custom-built software and working closely with multiple applications teams. Testing may include client/server applications and web services covering the following test types: regression, system, integration, and data synchronization validation.  Your responsibilities would include:
Write and execute manual tests to ensure that all systems meet minimum standards and requirements
Analyze existing tests for process and risk-based improvements
Development of traceability matrices
Regression and integration testing on multiple platforms
Providing detailed documentation on system defects
Testing fixes and multiple builds within scheduled timeframes
Providing updates to test case base as new requirements and information become available
Partnering with other team members to provide high-quality software and documentation deliverables
Provide input and assistance in organizing and documenting existing test deliverables, including high-quality hand-overs and knowledge transfers to the teammates.
Identify, develop and execute upon opportunities for process and strategic improvements, including requirements quality and IT areas without current quality management.
Stay current on industry trends and standards; conceive and present to management and peers ways to improve current practices to stay competitive in the marketplace and on the cutting edge while maintaining strict quality standards.

                                        What You Need to Succeed


                                   

Bachelor's degree in the field of Business or Technology or equivalent and/ or a minimum of 3 years experience and demonstrated excellence working within an enterprise software team.
Strong Understanding of Quality Assurances processes.
Minimum one year direct work experience in an international environment.
Familiarity with Agile and/or Scrum project methodologies.
Awareness of software architectures and technologies including .Net, web development and services, server management, and relational databases.  SAP experience a plus.
Experience with requirement management applications and software test management applications.  HP Quality Center a plus.
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
Strong written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
Customer service skills an asset.
