Essential Functions

The Department of Otolaryngology is hiring an Assistant Professor of Clinical to function as a Speech Pathologist Clinician Scientist. This position will plan and administer speech language pathology evaluations and plan and implement appropriate treatment. In addition, job duties will include creating detailed research plans, conducting clinical research in swallowing disorders and applying for grant funding.

Minimum Requirements

PhD
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Required Trainings/Certifications

Speech pathologist license issued by Ohio Medical Board as well as Ohio Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Board.

Required Experience

Two (2) years of experience with voice & swallowing disorders including head and neck cancer, neurologic and neurogenic disorders.
Previous medical setting experience.
Grant funding as a graduate student and/or Post-Doctoral Fellow

Additional Qualifications Considered

ASHA-CCCs.
ASHA membership.
