Primary Purpose: Assisting the physicians to provide patient care in the clinical setting.

Provides direct patient care in the hospital setting to develop the clinical skills of the nursing student. The Nursing Co-op Student provides supervised direct patient care to individuals and /or groups as assigned by the Faculty Advisor and/or Supervisory Clinical Preceptor.
Knowledge and Skills
Education: High school diploma or GED, minimum required. Must be enrolled in a BSN program.
License and Certification: BLS Certification.\Years of Experience: No experience required.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Demonstrated communication skills, successful completion of courses with appropriate grade point average, and professional demeanor.
