The Director of Human Resources will serve a key role responsible for shaping, implementing, and evaluating the human resource strategy for client groups in the North America business. Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, the Director will be responsible for leadership of initiatives in: talent development, organizational design, compensation, benefit plan design and implementation, employee engagement, professional development and training, human resources systems compliance and support, performance management, and continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Partner with clients to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable the company's strategic plan.
Provide timely and proactive guidance and counsel to business leaders on matters involving human capital including staffing, organizational design, compensation, talent management, succession planning, and change management.
Develop and oversee strategies to attract, develop, and retain strong and diverse talent.
Work with leaders and employees to create a positive and contemporary work environment.
Ensure high quality implementation of critical HR operating rhythms such as salary planning and performance management.
Leverage change acceleration techniques to assist in driving broad change.
Serve as a conduit for HR requests and solutions to and from the business unit and facilitate the involvement of appropriate HR subject matter experts to support specific business issues.
Act as an organizational & simplification champion who builds organizational capabilities, reduces complexity and partners with clients to maximize team performance.
Effectively use technology, benchmarking, vendor management, and the HRIS system to obtain, analyze and utilize data to inform decision making.
Stays abreast of changes in HR law and ensure programs and policies are compliant with state and federal laws and regulations (Ex. FMLA, ERISA, FLSA, HIPPA etc.).
Manage department human resource business partners according to company growth and needs.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field with a Master's degree and/or SPHR certification preferred.
Minimum of 10 years in Human Resources

Broad knowledge and experience in all aspects of human resources.
Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of an HR strategy including project prioritization and implementation.
Demonstrated expertise in examining operations and procedures and using key performance indicators and monitor and improve service delivery.
