Position Summary


Are you a person who enjoys helping people by providing information and solutions?  At STERIS, we help our Customers by delivering world-class Customer support. Our team is responsible for entering and managing orders for Equipment and Services. As a Customer Operations Sales Coordinator you will provide dedicated support to our Sales field as well as be actively involved in the entire purchasing process from procurement to shipment and beyond. This position hours are 9am-6pm M-F.

What You Will Do:


•    Process and manage purchase orders/contracts for equipment.  Activities include order entry, preparing and distributing applicable documentation, communicating important milestone dates, updating order details as required, and working to resolve pending items directly with Customers.
•    Ownership of the bid process, including completing Customer documents, collecting necessary company forms, submitting for signature, and distributing of the bid per Customer specified instruction.
•    Maintains positive Customer relations through timely responses and clear communication. Manages all inquiries via email, phone, or live chat, providing the highest quality Customer experience.
•    Maintains and manages backlogs per territory, ensuring ship dates are being met, process/credit holds are being released, backorders are being communicated, and special Customer requests are fulfilled.
•    Collaborate with other departments across the organization to ensure Customer concerns or requests are being taken care of efficiently and in a timely manner.
•    Assist in training peers, provide back-up to teammates as needed, and complete assigned objectives.

Education Degree


High School Diploma or GED


What You Need to be Successful


•    Two plus years business related experience, preferably experience in sales/account support
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
•    Strong communication skills and problem-solving capabilities
•    Strong time management and organizational skills
•    Attention to detail a must
