Job Overview

The Department of Physics at the University of Cincinnati is accepting applications for a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in high-energy particle physics. The expected field of research is the origin of matter in the universe; in particular, CP-violating rare processes as well as direct, indirect, and collider searches for dark matter, as well as searches for light new physics with different probes.

This is initially a one-year appointment with opportunity for extension with continued funding and positive performance evlauations. Post Docs may be in their position for up to five (5) years.

Required Education

The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Theoretical Particle Physics by the start of contract.

Required Experience

The successful candidate should also have experience doing research in the field of dark matter physics, electroweak baryogenesis, or precision tests in and beyond the standard model.

Additional Qualifications Considered

Experience in computer programming and performing numerical global fits would be highly beneficial.
