Our client is a premier food manufacturer and is looking to add an attentive Packaging Team Member in Lima, OH. As a leader in their industry, they take pride in the innovative solutions displayed in their various products. As their Packaging Team Member, you will ensure only the highest quality product is shipped to the clients. This position is a great place for you to develop new skills and grow in your career.

About the Position

Pay rate: $14.50 -$ 15.50 / hour

Shifts: Day shift or Night shift - 12 hrs - CHOOSE YOUR SCHEDULE

1st: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

3rd:  6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Daily Job Duties

As the Manufacturing Associate, your day to day tasks include:

    Inspecting product for quality concerns
    Clean and sanitize the area, paying close attention to minor details of cleanliness and food safety
    Comply with applicable environment, health and safety rules, procedures, laws and accepted safe work and Good Manufacturing (GMP) practices
   
    Packing product
    Stacking product
    Participating in routine visual inspections
    Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

    High school diploma or GED is desired, but not required
    Ability to lift 40 lbs frequently
    Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, walk, squat, kneel, bend and twist for a 12 hr shift.
    Prior packing experience preferred, but not required
    Ability to work in a damp/wet environment with changes in temperature
