Job Overview

Will primarily focus on the advancement and development of the alliance strategy through innovative programming and platforms that achieve both the Cincinnati Innovation District's (CID) goals and partner goals.

Essential Functions

Serve as project leader and ambassador for new innovative strategies and activation platforms for the CID.

Design, develop and execute a strategic plan to maximize the combined efforts of other university divisions or key entities to galvanize a vision and unify a collective approach.

Liaise with design and development to serve as point of contact on necessary building space to meet a strategic goal as set by leadership.

Maximize business contacts within industry, networks to create incremental pipeline growth for increased awareness and partnership attraction.

Deliver on innovative concepts or activation platforms for partners of the CID that meet the district's vision -- engaging the university community, increased collaboration between partners and the development of valuable synergies.

Maintain a high-level knowledge of CID objectives, strategies, projects, and activities and envision intersections with industry to meet measurable and necessary outcomes

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree.

Required Experience

Three (3) years of business development (B2B) or strategic partnership development experience with an immersion in sports, partnership marketing or similar.

Proven ability to convey and illustrate ideas and plans in high profile leadership situations.

Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and oral. Master presenter.

Outstanding leadership abilities and proven success as a leader.

Flexibility, accountability, resourcefulness, and ability to work with little direction in a fast-paced startup environment.

Ability to think and act like an entrepreneur, with a demonstration of the ability to use creative thinking to deliver value to your stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills: focused on metrics and outcomes, then refine or redirect plans accordingly.

A strong competitive spirit within a team.

Adept at advancing innovative concepts and be confident pioneering efforts that are new to the market and create national partner attraction and attention.

Additional Qualifications Considered

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Integrated Marketing, Sales/Management, or Operations.

An in-depth, working knowledge of the Esports industry, partnership development and integration of similar platforms.
