Description





This position will manage the Global Supply Chain, leveraging SAP for the Amelia Product line. The incumbent is responsible for verifying the demand forecast, planning supply, establishing appropriate inventory targets, replenishment of finished goods, managing slow moving/dormant materials and meeting internal (IDO and Plants) and external customer demands across the global supply chain.

Develop a monthly master schedule and coordinate with the plant scheduler an efficient plant schedule that optimizes service, finished goods inventory levels, asset utilization and cost to serve globally.
Achieve Global Supply Chain Key Metrics and deliver high profile/special projects.
Set timely replenishment models of finished good materials at preferred ship sites. Utilize the SAP Global Planning Process for replenishment of all warehouses.
Responsible for preventing, controlling, and driving reduction of slow moving and dormant material.
Responsible for reviewing and confirming the demand plan (Merchant and IDO) and improving the forecast accuracy.
Review all open orders (internal and external) and set action plans accordingly. Respond promptly to CSR for customer supply issues.
Responsible for reporting and resolving customer shortages, recovery plans and appropriate allocation of stock.
Work with the plant schedulers, plant manager to maintain accurate RCCP and determine actions to resolve issues such as capacity or capability constraints and material shortfalls.
Maintain and update SAP/MRP parameters and all Planning SAP material data for all warehouses globally.
Maintain finished goods inventory levels for assigned product lines at preferred ship sites as defined by the S and OP management process.
Other duties as assigned.



Position Requirements





Minimum five (8+) years in Supply Planning and/or Demand Forecasting preferably for a chemical company.
Minimum of a BS degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or related advanced degree preferred such as APICS certification or Certified Professional Forecaster.
SAP Supply Chain Systems experience (PTF) - APO, DP, SNP, DRP, etc.is required.
Experience in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing a plus.
Strong change management, collaboration, leadership, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong quantitative data mining and analytical skills required in Excel (and Access preferred).
Develop presentations that facilitate the decision making process and drive action.
Knowledge of distribution networks, transportation modes, warehousing operations and Best Practices.
