Responsibilities
What do our Assistant Product Manager Data Analyst do?

Our Assistant Product Manager Data Analyst supports in the development of product strategy and road-map by analyzing product performance, tracks and analyzes all aspects of the organization's market, and leveraging insights from data for products, client projects, and business development efforts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Supports the on-going rationalization of the business's products in order to ensure that there is an efficiency and effectiveness in product management.
Aids in the identification of key metrics, conduct rigorous exploratory data analysis, create executive facing dashboards and build business cases that drive decision making and business prioritization
Helps to build key data sets to empower operational and exploratory analysis
Supports data projects through all phases of the product development life cycle
Assist in identifying new trends and solutions, partner with suppliers and/or internal R&D to test and bring new or enhancements to market
Supports efforts in targeting market segments, segment sizing and ideal customer targets, and design forward-thinking positioning approaches for company products and services.
Carry out business analysis, data modelling, and logical and physical database design, and database optimization for the company
Utilize standard reporting technologies to create, manage, and maintain reports
Responsible for preserving and managing a centralized data dictionary for the
company
Ensure company data architectural guidelines, principles, and standards are followed in all project milestones and deliverables
Evaluate research needs and use advanced techniques for efficient statistical programming and analysis
Provide statistical programming guidance and recommendations to other staff

What do you need?

Must have a Bachelor's Degree in business, data science, or three years progressive experience in a data analysis or related field relevant to the role.
Minimum two years of data analysis experience - preferred
Proficiency with Business Intelligence Tools such as Power BI, Tableau and QlikView- preferred
Must be a self-starter with the ability to perform independently in high pressure and dynamic situations with skill and tact
Demonstrated ability to execute on projects and initiatives
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to demonstrate data analysis skill and ability to apply this to business situations
Attention to detail.
Sound decision making skills.
Must pass pre-employment background screen and drug test
Valid driver's license/clean driving record
