We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a Bachelor's degree in a related field of study. What to look forward to: As a Contracts Manager, you will be using your skills and expertise to administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate our standard and nonstandard contracts. You'll be responsible for examining estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. You'll advise management of contractual rights and obligations and ensure our contracting activities provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment.
At SNC's Washington, D.C. office we are responsible for government affairs, international strategy, international business, and trade and regulatory compliance. We provide strategic guidance across the organization, helping to find alignment and compliance between SNC and the national security priorities of the U.S. government.
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
A higher level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
10-15 years of hands-on experience in Government contracting
Extensive experience in the use of automated contract management software, such as Unison's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool
Experience implementing automated contract management software, such as Unison's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool
Experience with the solicitation, negotiation, award and administration of Government contracts from the Department of Defense.
Detailed knowledge of how to exploit the data from automated contract management software tools to benefit other company departments and or activities such as orders forecasting, pipeline analysis, financial reviews, etc.
Ability to translate information needs from different Departments using easily consumable reporting formats from automated contracting tools.
Ability to problem solve- applying creativity, originality and initiative. Listening to teammates and crafting solutions to fulfil their needs.
Ability to interpret technical/programmatic data in order to effectively perform duties and responsibilities
Collaborate effectively with co-workers; work with other Departments and management in a professional manner
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
