Job Summary:

Corporate Sourcing Specialist works across the organization on assigned categories to understand key stakeholder needs (total cost, quality, service) and uses procurement best practices to drive for the optimal solution. This is accomplished through building relationships (internal and external), quickly resolving performance issues, data driven negotiated agreements, understanding the market trends for assigned categories and routinely analyzing data to implement continuous improvements. Additionally, the Corporate Sourcing Specialist will support the reporting and analytical needs for the department. Some examples include payables reporting, spend cube development, travel metrics and savings tracking.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Build strong Category Management knowledge within assigned categories and contribute to the development of category sourcing strategies

Manage and develop plans for assigned spend categories to achieve cost savings targets and supplier performance goals

Analyze historical spend to proactively identify sourcing opportunities that improve cost, working capital and payment terms

Develop and execute monthly standard reports from multiple data sources (eg: savings calculations, spend details, supplier performance, etc.)

Generate ad hoc reporting requests

Identify and implement business process standards as well as optimize existing business systems

Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and key suppliers globally to provide world class service across multiple sites and businesses

Develop and manage RFx activities in coordination with business partners to drive measurable savings results

Negotiatecontract terms and conditions in cooperation with business partners

Timely resolution of supplier related issues

Ensure accuracy of suppler related data in business systems

Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Procurement, or Supply Chain

2+ years of global experience in Sourcing/Supply Chain or Corporate Financial Planning

Ability to establish and build strong relationships with suppliers and across the organization

Strong analytical skills (especially Reports Now, MS Excel formulas, pivot tables) to process data from multiple databases effectively, identify trends and form conclusions, while ensuring data is accurate and complete

Project management skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple key activities

Basic negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Drive to challenge the status quo and collaboratively implement change

Experience in travel management, office supplies/products, utilities or freight would be a plus
