The Industrial Cleaner controls dust accumulation and assists operators in maintaining an organized, clean, and dust-free work environment.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Work 3rd shift, (10:45 pm - 7 am)
Dust mitigation, control dust build up on equipment, platforms, machines & floor.
Responsible for documenting, assigned cleaning duties throughout the shift.
Assist operators with packaging organization. Organizing and covering of packaging.
Removal and discarding of garbage, empty pallets, recyclable goods.
Training and instruction of new cleaning personnel / temporary employees.
Maintains a clean floor using a broom, mop and motorized floor scrubber.
Assist operators with various needs upon supervisors and or lead operator's request.
All other duties as assigned
Proven ability to successfully meet customer and management deadlines.
Results-oriented, process improvement focused.
Highly organized, self-starter that can work with little direct supervision.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)
Ability to follow direction and complete tasks accordingly.
Microsoft Office and PC skills preferred
Aptitude for teambuilding and employee engagement.
Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell.
