Support modernization, expansion, optimization, implementation, and maintain AFRL's Sensor Data as a Service (SDaaS) project in accordance with best practices.
Responsible for debugging the cloud stack architecture and applications.
Responsible for the security of the cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate and assist in the design and architecture of big data systems to support AFRL's growing AI/ML programs.
Liaise with community scientists and engineers to understand and document their requirements.

Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:
2 - 5 Years' experience inCloud Engineering/Data Integration Engineering
BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Scientist, or closely related field.
Cloud certifications preferred.
Must have a SECRET clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance
Security+ required, but CISSP desirable
Experience in Linux, 2-5 Years' (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian)
Experience with Cloud based services (EC2, S3, Minio, SNS, SQS, Datasync)
Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) procedures
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and documentation
Working knowledge preferred in:
AWS EC2, S3, Minio, SNS, SQS, Datasync
Kubernetes with Rancher
Apache, including Airflow/Kafka/Lucene
