Job Description:
The Industrial Maintenance Position performs a variety of general maintenance tasks on electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, including repairs, as well as preventative maintenance according to program outlines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for trouble shooting and repairing basic electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Conducts preventative maintenance according to program outlines.
Reads/understands diagrams, schematics, instructions and technical manuals.
Performs basic troubleshooting of PLC's.
Verifies accuracy and completion of repairs.
Reports and/or documents supplies needed.
Responds to production needs in a timely manner.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
May perform other duties or work in a production area as needed based upon business demands.
Demonstrates and promotes Pentair's "Win Right" culture at all times when interacting with employees, co-workers, customers and suppliers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:

High School diploma or equivalent required
3+ years of previous experience in industrial maintenance preferred
Pre-employment technical and electrical testing required
Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude/Fabrication and Welding Experience
Mathematical and mechanical reasoning abilities
Critical thinking skills and the ability to develop new ways to solve tough problems
Strong problem solving and decision making skills
Self-motivated and eager to assume additional responsibilities as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Manufacturing facility with exposure to heat, some dust, noise/vibrations from machinery and fumes/odors. Outdoor exposure to weather conditions (heat, cold and rain).

Second Shift is Monday-Friday, 2:45pm-11:15pm.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires regular walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing while conducting repairs and maintenance. Some standing, sitting and reaching is also required. Daily lifting of parts and equipment up to 100 pounds is required.

EQUIPMENT/TOOLS UTLIZED:

Daily use of hand tools, electro-mechanical machinery and lifting equipment. Various diagnostic tools as well.
