The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine's Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine, is recruiting for a full-time (100% FTE), Post Doctoral Fellow within a well-funded laboratory at the Center for Lipid and Atherosclerosis Studies (CLAS) at the University of Cincinnati Metabolic Diseases Institute. Additional information can be found at: . Primary duties will include proteomic and functional analyses of high-density lipoproteins (HDL) as well as structure/function analysis of apolipoproteins. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Minimum Requirements: Ph.D. in a Biological Science
AdditionalQualifications Considered: Previous experience in protein chemistry, proteomics, gel electrophoresis, western blotting, and especially mass spectrometry is an advantage. Preference will be given to candidates with Cryo-EM experience. Strong scientific writing skills and the ability to work independently are also sought.
