The Senior Director is responsible for setting strategy and vision for the Information Services Division. The Director will also assist with organizational growth initiatives related to the strategic plan. The Director is also responsible for the overall direction of data and analytics for the Hospital, Research and affiliates which includes data design and architecture, database administration, data analytics and reporting, new development, data collaborations, data science and more.

Responsibilities




Creates criteria to measure professional services; ensures the quality of IT services.
Promotes the use of standard procedures in each function of IT services.
Provides insight into system optimization and development of process-focused IT services.
Oversees the establishment and use of best practices in IT service management.
Leads in the development of information technology and personal technical skills.
Handles multiple initiatives at the same time and integrates them into a comprehensive plan.
Monitors complex or unforeseen dependencies and responds accordingly.
Ensures business priorities take first place and adjusts work effort accordingly.
Helps colleagues integrate strategic goals and tactical priorities.
Develops strategies to improve commitment for business vision.
Integrates core values into the way work is done and how relationships are conducted.
Articulates key messages for the group or unit based on mapping strategy to audience analysis.
Generates communications plans for various scenarios including crisis management.
Represents the organization faithfully and accurately with internal and external audiences.
Contributes to the overall strategic business goals and plans of the organization.
Creates and implements a strategy for supporting current and future business needs.
Directs the development, maintenance, and communication of own function's strategic plan.
Builds organizational units with the talents and skills needed to accomplish complex goals.
Adjusts team composition to maximize effectiveness.
Clarifies team roles and responsibilities as business conditions change.


Qualifications




KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Education:

Master's degree preferred, Bachelor's degree required. Data experience required. Commensurate experience also acceptable

Preferred Experience:

8 - 10 years IT management experience
Develops strategy and vision

Manages staff and budgets

Holds vendors accountable for service and deliverables

Brings teams together to achieve outcomes

Consistently improves process and services

Responsible for accuracy and reliability of systems
