The Product Owner will be accountable for delivering Product KPIs, creating and maintaining product vision, and collaborating with cross-functional technology squad, comprised of Business Analysts, front-end and full-stack developers, QA engineers, and scrum masters. This role will be responsible for defining and decisioning a set of multi-year product roadmaps to deliver on Key's overall technology strategy and vision. With a desire to innovate, you will drive innovation and engagement of the technology capabilities we provide to clients and/or employees, with a focus on enhancing the end-to-end experience and achieving maximum engagement and client and/or employee satisfaction.

The primary measure of success for this role will be driven by business value attainment. The product and service you will be leading must contribute to helping Key differentiate itself from competition.

Product Management/Squad Leadership

In partnership with an agile scrum master, collaborate with a squad of technical business analysts, software engineers, designers and QA engineers to build and deliver frequent enhancements to Key's technology capabilities.
Prioritize intake from multiple sources (product team, technology, business partners) and establish and manage to a product roadmap and delivery backlog. Bring together diverse, cross-functional teams (including business leads, user experience and design leads, product analysts, engineers, and marketers) to meet established business objectives (e.g., digital adoption, engagement, new account acquisition, and customer satisfaction, etc.)
Define, decision and prioritize backlogs to achieve business value attainment through implementing enhancements and innovation to current product capabilities, while collaborating closely with marketing, technology teams, line of business, product partners, vendors, and internal partners to ensure effective deployment of budget in order to maximize our investment.
Identify and recommend new enhancements and process improvements based on market insights, performance data and voice-of-client and/or employee.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of end user requirements and effectively communicate needs with technology teammates to build or integrate scalable and extensible capabilities.
Foster cross team collaboration across the organization.

Strategic Thinking

Translate business goals into product concepts and tactical user stories.
Take the enterprise and the portfolio of platforms into consideration when assessing the impact of new work.
Work closely with various business leaders to advise them on how to develop and sustain a business advantage in their space via our technology solutions.

Maintain and manage multiple and/or changing priorities quickly with flexibility, initiative, innovation and a team focus to drive success
Make sound data-driven judgments drawing from both analytical data sources and qualitative data sources.
Use problem-solving skills that help identify, isolate and resolve problems and issues in a timely fashion to negate or minimize customer pain points.


Serve as primary contact for assigned product capabilities for the rest of the organization.
Fosters collaboration and cross functional teamwork.
Develop close working relationships with other departments in the company as well as external contacts.

Required Qualifications

5+ years in technology, product, process development
Bachelor's degree in business, information systems management or equivalent preferred
Combination of business depth and technical savvy.
Experience working in a collaborative, Agile, and data-driven environment.
Proven ability to drive change through influence and collaboration.
Proven expertise creating innovative products and services that drive business results.
A strong understanding, working knowledge and appreciation for user centered design.
Passionate about leveraging user-generated data and third-party data to create intelligent, software driven customer and/or employee experiences.
Analytically minded with a desire to be precise with decision making and demonstrated experience using analytics to drive decisioning and results.

Preferred Qualifications

Technology background
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification or equivalent
