Business Development Director


This position is remote/work from home and can be located anywhere within the United States. The Business Development Director will lead the integration and revenue growth of iRecon across/in Cox Automotive business segments. Responsible for identifying the strategic alignment, organizational integration, execution, organizational support to drive profitable growth, tracking the agreed upon KPIs, & increasing market share through cross organizational deployment of iRecon. The Direct of Business Enablement will be directly responsible for the integration, sales and marketing alignment, operational enablement, and product management support of iRecon on other platforms. Additionally, this role shall assist in the develop of vAI strategies and cross organizational deployment.


Drive the continued growth of existing iRecon offerings within the Automotive market and across Cox Automotive; identify integration opportunities, align business units to iRecon integration strategy, and support operational deployment of teams supporting the integrations.
Work closely with the product teams across the Cox Automotive to prioritize recon feature development representing the business and the industry perspective during the product lifecycle.
Lead the day-to-day iRecon application integrations and advance strategy and execution with an emphasis on productivity and efficiency.
Position and communicate the vision and services of the organization to customers, business partners and employees.
Drives and facilitates innovation to ensure successful reconditioning strategy.
Interacts frequently with the senior leaders' members of the Inventory Software leadership team to review progress, opportunities and determine how new opportunities are prioritized and pursued.
Develops, reviews, updates and implements business strategic planning, including sales, financial performance and new product development.
Synthesizes information from various sources to come up with recommendation that are data driven and focused on growth and meet customer requirement.
Ensures operations are successfully implemented to ensure flawless execution on new opportunities while maintaining current customer base.
Act as an Automotive industry expert and utilize insight from market research to determine current business needs and opportunities for future business growth. Leverage existing relationships and establish new ones to achieve revenue growth.
Compensation includes a base salary of $116,600 - 163,200. Salary may vary outside of the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience.
Position is eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

10 Years of progressive responsibilities in a SaaS environment. Automotive experience strongly preferred.
Deep understanding of recon and its position in the dealership from acquisition through disposition.
Previous experience running operations; preferably software related.
Previous experience with full P&L responsibility highly preferred.
Extensive experience working across a matrixed organization leading the integration and deployment of a SaaS offering.
Experience working, presenting and communicating with key stakeholders.
Provide leadership in the development and delivery of the strategic plan.
Proven ability to enable higher performance by driving continuous improvement resulting in improved strategic approaches.


Ability to establish credibility as an internal thought leader on strategic and business issues.
Ability to work cross-functionally & interact with leadership at all levels of the organization.
Ability to interpret complex data and distill it into concise, relevant presentation for an executive audience.
