RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:
Ability to establish yourself as "key contact" serving as an advocate for both existing customers and the company
Aptitude to collaborate with departments developing ideas to improve existing methods, services, products, processes and /or procedures
Implement overall strategy for Municipal & Public Sector relationships, clearly articulating service adjustments, recycling alternatives, and total waste management solutions
Conduct and document 90 retention calls per month. Scheduling and securing personal face-to-face visits
Maintain and utilize GMS Board to input, record and track sales activities on a daily basis while creating applicable I-pak F9 notes when necessary
Establish performance reporting to Management providing status updates and results on key performance measures
Ability to oversee, schedule and manage special event services where and when applicable
Provide sales support as needed to the Municipal Public Sector Representative
Must be dependable. Able to work and organize daily activities with minimal supervision. Willing to attend nightly council meetings as necessary

3 -5 years of relevant industry experience a plus
Neat and professional appearance required.
Ability to think on your feet, take in large amounts of information and make quick decisions demonstrating sound reasoning and superior conflict resolution
Ability to listen and interpret what was said communicating issues back clearly
Experience working with the procurement process
Highly motivated individual with confidence who is comfortable in a variety of business environments
Strong organizational and time management skills required due to the necessity of managing multiple contracts within the market.
Strong computer skills including proficient Excel, Word and computer user. Able to use a smartphone, tablet, laptop with the ability to text and respond to multimedia inquiries
Extensive travel maintaining and growing existing municipal and public sector accounts
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field preferred.
Minimum two (2) years outside business-to-business sales with a proven track record of success.
One (1) year of experience in a customer-facing sales role (business to business).
Good Driving record; able to meet Rumpke driving qualifications.
Office environment and traveling to and from businesses.
Prolonged sitting in car or office.
