We have an opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join our Ashland, OH team. You will be responsible for working closely with our manufacturing operations team to develop organizational capability through talent acquisition, performance management, talent & leadership development, total rewards and employee relations. The role will partner with local leaders to align HR processes and programs with the strategic direction of the Flow Technologies segment.

You will:

Participate in a variety of HR processes such as such as organizational development and effectiveness, performance management, staffing, training initiatives, career development, compensation and positive employee relations.
Partner with hiring managers on recruitment process, including identifying available openings, posting open position, reviewing applicants, scheduling and participating in interviews, preparing offers, and scheduling pre-employment testing.
Provide guidance and coaching to manager and employees on HR policies and processes to provide consistent handling of employee situations and performance management.
Support and participate in human resources initiatives for the site including the annual performance evaluation process, mid-year reviews, and compensation planning and talent management.
Anticipate, identify and facilitate resolution of employee relations issues and performance management consulting.
Act as internal consultant, identifying and partnering with others as appropriate, in addressing issues (e.g. employee morale, interpersonal problems, work conditions, etc.).
Provide counsel and facilitate conflict resolution to address issues for both employees and managers.
Support and guide managers in all performance management processes.
Conduct HR orientation for newly hired employees, working in partnership with managers and other functional groups to ensure an effective on- boarding process.
Partner with HR team on employee data transactions so that employee leaves, payroll and benefit administrations are accurate and timely.
Manage and maintain employee files according to document retention policy.
Support labor relations efforts and dues processing for two bargaining units.
Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

Have earned at least a Bachelor's Degree (B.A.,B.S.) or equivalent in human resources, business or related field.
Have 3+ years of experience in human resources, manufacturing is preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of employment laws, human resources theory, practices and legal requirements to act as a subject matter expert to business groups.
Travel up to 10% of time.
