The Academy Strategist 2 is responsible for designing, creating, executing, refining and maturing the tools and content utilized for training programs that enable best in class marketing practices for the company's marketing employees.

What you will be doing

Design, create, refine and maintain tools and content for sales academy initiatives that is relevant, accessible, timely and meets the evolving needs of sales employees
Assist, in collaboration with defined subject matter experts, in the generation of content and design elements for video based training courses
Coordinate and track, in collaboration with Translation Services, the translation of standard course materials into required languages in support of our global sellers
Facilitate the delivery of specific courses in various mediums including classroom, self-study and videos
Understand and educate sellers on the main processes, procedures and line of business systems utilized within the Sales department
Understand available capabilities and solutions of specific company industries
Utilization of a Learning Management System (LMS) to track achievements and allow sales management visibility
Measure key outcomes and training ROI
Support members of sales academy and overall sales organization, including the sales executives
Work closely with new, tenured and promoted sales employees to accelerate success
Grow knowledge and be aware of best practices and market trends
Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy

What will make you successful

Bachelor's degree
Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion
Related sales experience in the software industry and/or training experience
Experience developing an education program, including the identification of program objectives and their corresponding metrics, creation of supporting materials and the execution of program elements
Demonstrated ability to evaluate training effectiveness and improve education content over time
A broad range of product and sales process understanding
In-depth understanding of the Adobe and Articulate applications
Detail oriented and thorough
Strong project management skills
Good collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
Outstanding organization, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Up to 10% travel
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
