Provide professional architectural planning services for the implementation of master planning, planning and resultant programming efforts to help delineate, define and advance prioritized project needs.Make independent contributions to projects based on professional training or functions experience.
Serve as a seasoned planner on moderately complex planning assignments in master planning, planning, programming, space utilization, and metric based data analysis, highest and best useanalysis, efficiency opportunities oversight, scope of work determination, high-level cost estimating, and code evaluation.
Assist in preparing capital budgets, state capital requests and related budgeting documents.
Manage and generate changes to Capital Request Projections. Develop programming documents for major capital projects and review programming documents prepared by others for projects.
Contribute to project design reviews for compliance with developed programs (scope management), related move planning and management and post occupancy reviews for continuous improvement.
Prepare and review consulting planning firm proposals, contracting and related supervision to assure planning needs and deliverables are achieved.
Contribute to the collective team effort (e.g., offer ideas, solutions and resources).
Develop and maintain standards for planning purposes as well as related presentation materials required to convey program and space needs.
Understand and execute standard work and follow university methodology of delivering work in compliance with the Planning+Design+Construction's (P+D+C) Project Manager's Manual, OFCC guidelines, and university standards.
Develop solid workplans with milestones and deliverables and is accountable for on time delivery and oversight of planning and programming efforts assigned.
Improve space utilization by promoting and assuring all projects move towards greater flexibility and scalability to reduce the cost of reconfigurations as well as increase net gross usable space.

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Urban Planning or related field.
Six (6) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Two (2) years of relevant work experience.
