Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time developer to support our customer at the Air Force Research Laboratory located at Wright-Patterson AFB or Langley AFB. You will participate in the research, design, development, testing, optimization, and deployment of complex new solutions supporting programs for defense and intelligence users across the globe. You will work in a dynamic team on developing, debugging, and maintaining software deployed in a cloud environment.
Provide security scanning of application code and provide recommendations based on analysis
Configure and install computer systems as required
Manage multiple operating systems and integrate systems with networks
Provide software security analysis of customer focused software components
Architect solutions utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem and develop code to be deployed into the AWS customer environment
Qualifications/Technical Experience Requirements:
Active TS/SCI or TS with SCI eligibility
BS/MS - Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering
5 years of experience as a software engineer/developer
Experience developing cloud data processing pipelines in GoLang using AWS services such as SNS, SQS, and Lambda
Experience working with a SW development team using Systems Engineering approach and Agile methodologies.
Experience using Jira/Confluence/Gitlab
