The Construction Project Manager works cross-functionally and collaboratively with production, quality, program managers and other key personnel to support, develop and execute cleanroom and facility expansion projects. The Construction Project Manager will provide technical and strategic guidance for cleanroom and facility design during preconstruction activities, and oversee execution during implementation.
Leading and coordinating as team leader on cleanroom and facility expansion construction projects with local site management (EHS, Quality, Engineering, Production, Facilities, etc.) to develop pre-project planning functions and deliverables to include scope, budgets, schedules and quality control to complete projects per SG internal protocols (FLS Cleanroom Standards Policy).
Develop and write User Requirement Specifications for building expansions, cleanroom construction, and facility support systems to include: purified water, clean dry compressed air, HVAC systems, Building Management Systems, Security Systems, furniture and signage.
Communicating the results of projects and project planning; preparing estimates, Gantt timelines, budget performance and key project problem statements and deliverables
Oversee the day to day activities of the resources involved in construction project execution to ensure quality meets expectations. Responsible for the management of traditional project deliverables, to include: submittals, change control, schedules, project reports, budgets, team meetings.
Commission and validate complex facilities equipment to include cleanrooms, RODI, chilled water plant, general waste neutralization, process cooling water, compressed air systems, and HVAC equipment
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or technical discipline.
Minimum 10 years of construction industry experience in various construction roles (site superintendent, construction project manager).
Minimum of 8 years of construction project management experience (industrial experience needed) with overall project responsibility ideally gained from an A&E design build firm. Ability to develop risk mitigation scenarios, cost analysis and direct an influential management of internal and external team members.
Experience as a construction manager in industrial facilities aimed at pharmaceutical or related industries with cleanroom design and construction experience preferred.
Ability to travel 50% to various manufacturing sites in the US; there will also be some global travel.
