We're looking for a systems administrator to maintain and sustain all the computer hardware, software, and network capabilities, maintain and sustain GEOINT analysis tools and capabilities to the production environment, and enhance tools and systems to improve performance and maintainability.
As a systems administrator on our project, you'll maintain, sustain, enhance, and provide technical support to GEOINT production systems, support GEOINT application, processing, and database servers and processing routines related to physical and virtualized servers with operating systems including Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. You'll provide your customers with insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like providing maintenance on existing software tools, recommending changes and upgrades, creating data constructs and standards to facilitate data acquisition, data processing, data storage, product enhancements, data archiving, dissemination, and crypto security. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the teamwork through challenges and develop new methodologies. 1+ years of experience as a system administrator
Experience with server administration in Windows or Linux
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Knowledge of the Air Force or NASIC technology tools and processes
BA or BS degree
VMWare, Red Hat, and AWS Certifications
