Position  Continuous Improvement Manager

Main Position Objectives

As member of MAAG Americas Leadership Team, this role will facilitate deployment and execution of Continuous Improvement (CI), Productivity and Lean strategy across the Americas facilities with the focus on monitor and improve organizational processes with the aim of making them effective, effortless and efficient. Collaborate with local Operations leadership to focus on the continuous improvement of processes impacting the overall customer experience. Achieve objective performance improvement results through capability building, coaching, and deployment of Lean Sigma tools and systems. Integrate all functions and leadership to implement the methodology and strategy.

Position Description

Drives continuous improvement activity and methodologies in material flow, organization (6S), standardization, quality, safety and delivery. As well as identifying any other metrics that will help to yield desirable results.
Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business drivers to synchronize and prioritize improvement activity.
Identify improvement areas/gaps utilizing lean tools including value stream mapping of key business processes at Maag Americas locations and lead improvement plans.
Support the improvement of Inventory/Aftermarket activities, including accuracy of physical inventory, inventory levels/turns, packaging accuracy and speed. Identify new methods and technology to improve these activities including Industry 4.0 Standardization principles.
Drive change with inefficient transactional processes within the primary value streams.
Drive changes in process & mindset around how we organize work and deliver functionality for customers, maintaining customer-focused processes towards Aftermarket/Spare Parts value stream.
Drive improvements in design for manufacturing and value engineering with close relationship with the Engineering and Manufacturing departments.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in related discipline

5+ years experience in Continuous Improvement
5+ years experience in Inventory Management
Experience managing cross-functional, mission-critical programs

Desired Education and Experience

Master's degree is a plus.
Experience in customer facing positions.
Experience in Aftermarket.
