Applied Research Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full-time software developer, primarily focused on web app development, to work with the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT).
The employee will work both individually and with a team to participate in all aspects of software engineering including technical design, development, testing and support. The employee is responsible for individually completing small complex projects, as well as for the delivery of multiple components of large projects as part of a team.
Work in a team of developers both backend and frontend side
Lead by example with strong hands-on development and detailed design/architecture
Coding and implementation using best practices to produce high performing/scalable/secured modules
Test Driven Development, Unit Testing/Integration Testing, Documentation
Comfortable with Agile Scrum methodology.; able to write user stories and tasks from Epics
Qualifications/Technical experience required:
1+ years leading a DevOps team, implementing Agile, DevOps, Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration, Micro-Services, Test-driven development (TDD), Infrastructure as Code
3+ years experience as a DevOps Software Engineer working with CI/CD pipelines, build, test and deployment tools
1+ years' experience with Platform One, Cloud One, and GCP, AWS or Azure cloud platform
Key Tools and Technology:
VueJS, ReactJS and other JS based frameworks experience
