Temporary Position-Warehouse Associate
Ensuring the security, tracking, and accountability of materials and goods required for inventory control (both controlled and non-controlled items). Responsibilities/tasks: Data input into the SAP computer system for receiving materials both controlled and non-controlled, quarantining materials; material transactions to/from manufacturing. The physical or administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storage and distribution of materials. Unpacks and checks condition and content of deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips; distributes materials to end users and other duties as assigned to support the Materials Department.
Must be able to maintain adherence to established applicable SOPs for receiving and management of materials. Computer skills required for internal communications network and maintenance of database files.
Ensuring all cGMP material receipts are handled in accordance with applicable FDA and cGMP procedures and properly segregated in the warehouse.
Performing accurate Cycle Counts and investigations into errors that are found.
Perform multiple transactions in SAP - pull and stage materials supporting the manufacturing lines and departments throughout the company.
Continuously rotate, move and manage materials to support and house required inventory levels.
Assist in maintaining the high level of organization and cleanliness within the department to be inspection-ready at all times.
Excellent analytical, verbal, written and interpersonal skills required.
Must be extremely service and internal customer oriented.
Must be able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Must be a proactive problem solver.
Knowledge of receipt and shipping procedures for hazardous materials.
Knowledge of material receipt, quarantine, release, distribution and reconciliation procedures.
Experience with material handling equipment: forklifts, hand truck and two wheel dolly.
Requires strong math skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. overhead.
Working knowledge of cGMPs, OSHA, EPA, and FDA regulations that pertain to warehousing.
Have a valid driver's license and be familiar with roads and highways in the area.
Have basic computer skills.
Have good math skills.
Have good communication skills, both oral and written.
Have good organizational skills and be able to work on your own.
Punctual and dependable a must.
Attention to detail; especially as related to documentation and materials CGMP.
Positive attitude and excellent work ethic and a team player.
Understands company objectives.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two (2) years direct SAP experience in receipt and management of materials operations, preferably in a cGMP environment.
Associates degree or BA/BS considered a plus,
Must be familiar with DOT and cGMP requirements and documentation.
