** Position Available starting 7/1/21 (Summer 2021 with option for Fall Semester Extension) From: $15.50 per hour.**
Under the guidance of the Program Management team, students will be given both technically challenging and educationally stimulating projects and assignments. Our student employees will make a hands-on contribution to the Program Management process, while learning valuable skills and developing attributes to become successful within this business function.
The NMG Program Management team consists of professionals who lead the introduction of new products and projects into the organization. This is executed through the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. The program management Co-Op will be a key part of the team and work across several aerospace product lines.
Essential Job Functions:
This position will support projects with developing planning tasks and using technical reviews to mature NMG designs. The position will also support existing product lines and customer interface. The responsibilities will include customer quality and delivery improvement initiatives and coordinating the return of customer owned material for upgrade or repair. Activities could include but are not limited to:
Development of New Product Introduction engineering and product delivery schedules
Interface with customers on product returns for upgrade or aftermarket service repair
Ensures customer orders adhere to contract terms and conditions.
Communicate customer delivery requirements; utilize customer portals for purchase order flow downs and delivery confirmations
Support the NMG design engineering team on product development tasks.
Assist the NMG long range planning efforts within SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning)
Support NMG planning and goals as outlined in the Policy Deployment process
Preferred experience or exposure to ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Software(i.e., SAP, Epicor, Oracle, etc.)
Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Strong Microsoft Office Suite capabilities (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater
Able to work 20+ hours during academic year * Able to work 35-40 hours during the summer semester
Must be willing to submit to and satisfactorily pass any pre-employment screening required for employment with NMG Aerospace (i.e. drug screen, background check, eye exam, hearing exam, etc.) and any subsequent testing required for the position during employment.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 percent of the time.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office or shop floor to access work supplies, tools, machinery, etc.
Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or similar business/technical field of study and musthave completed sophomore year criteria from an accredited college or university.
