Job Description

Intern duties:

  • Social media (All Facebook pages/Instagram and Twitter)
    • Ex: A realtor’s page. ‘Awesome job on selling that gorgeous house!’
    • Ex: A picture of a drink The Met made. ‘That looks so refreshing after a hard-working week!’
    • Each day on FB find a local company/business and share their post to our page (something fun they are doing this weekend, helped out the community in some way, feel-good post, informational). This will be one post each day for each Facebook page to get the community aware of us and let them know we are here to help and better our community. 
    • Check FB timeline and respond to any comments. Like and comment on any shares ‘thank you so much! If you have any questions, we can be reached at (419) 227-0113. Have a wonderful day!'
    • Interact with 1-5 businesses/people a day per page (like and comment) 
    • Goal: Get more followers & have them engage! The more followers we have, the more people see our jobs, and the more people we get placed
  • Indeed
    • What is the ‘best and most searched’ job title for this job?
    • What keywords are being used in this town/area that we need to put in our job description so more people see it? 
    • Stay up to date on all key tips for Indeed on how to get people
    • Indeed Text-Apply be in charge of
    • I will create an ‘Indeed Excel’, where they can just pull those jobs up and clone them every day to keep them at the top of Indeed
    • They will research in the analytics part of Indeed: 
  • BOLD
    • Get in the back end and see how many people we are pulling and from where every week to see if what we are doing is working
    • Dig into BOLD web applicant/career areas to see what more we can do
  • Help me start shooting videos for our offices
    • We can travel to each office location and take videos around town
  • OhioMeansJobs and other sites have them research resumes that match our particular jobs and send them to the offices
  • Pull Focus Queries every week and send candidates to the specific office 
  • Research and rewrite job descriptions with more detail and more incentives
    • Help schedule ads to publish on Reputation.com calendar
    • Make sure to follow ALL Facebook rules to stay out of Facebook Jail (70/30 rule)
  • Research upcoming events in all of our markets that we could be a part of/potentially sponsor
  • Dig into Google Ads and research the best formula to run a staffing ad
    • Help me make a plan to get more Reviews on Google
  • Research what career centers are in/near each market (in case I missed any)
  • Put flyers, yard signs, and business cards out around town (Smile!)
  • Help get Corporate Events together (letters we have to send to all our employees..) 
  • Help run the ‘Star Employee’ campaign for each office
  • Help create and run ‘Giveaways’ 
  • Run job fairs as needed
  • Come up with ways to get the Business Dev Manager’s names out there
  • Stay up to date on Corporate emails and relay important info 
  • Help me complete items for Karen for High Schools & other places
  • Create weekly flyers and ads for offices and their highest needs at that time
  • Create client-based items to let the client know we are doing the best we can for them and to keep that constant contact
  • Create, plan and execute client-specific ‘meet and greet/open interviews’
  • Be aware of any new ‘mobile’ friendly marketing/advertising options 
  • Come with me to meetings. (YMCA to see how we can partner and get the word out about who we are and our careers…)
  • Two brains are better! Research and look for new avenues and marketing ideas that could help us out

This will also allow me to be more active in our communities!
