Position Overview

The Talent Program Specialist will be instrumental in the coordination, administration and growth of the program that prepares entry-level emerging leaders for the next step in their career. This role is responsible for executing on the overall development of Hexion's emerging talent through setting priorities, managing schedules, monitoring and evaluating progress against goals, assessing program gaps and delivering solutions to allow the program to continue to grow with the organization.

Job Responsibilities

Program Management
Coordinate On-boarding of new associates entering the program
Scheduletrainingdelivery based on developed project plans
Initiateend of assignment performance reviews as well as facilitate finalization of performance process
Proactively provide team and organization with relevant feedback, suggestions and best practices to improve results
Ensure project rotations stay on time and in alignment with stakeholder requirements

Training Delivery and Program Facilitation

Partner with the Talent Program Leader and Sponsors to identify and address development needs
Evaluate training plans and internal processes to ensure continuous improvement, efficiency, effectiveness for return on investment of training program
Effectively deliver training content to new program mentors and participants to ensure alignment and consistency

Individual Development Plan Support
Partner with Talent Program Leader to support the coaching and mentoring of program participants
Monitor individual development plans to ensure achievement of key milestones
Support identification of appropriate individual development plan goals and milestones

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, HR or Equivalent
3-5 Years' experience in HR including 1 year in program or talent coordination
Intermediate project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong analytical & assessment skills; ability to interpret large amounts of data and information to create and execute solutions
Ability to think on your feet and challenge the status quo
Organized, creative and self-directed
Ability to manage competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, HR or Equivalent
