Position Summary

Supports internal and external marketing communication activities working closely with our senior marketing communications specialists to ensure a consistent brand and corporate message. Coordinates our Americas trade shows and events focusing on the organizational aspects, logistics and all supporting activities to make events successful.

Essential Functions

Supports marketing communications specialists for the business lines with internal and external email campaigns, social media posts, web/blog updates, preparation of sales presentations and sales collateral, press releases, and other marketing communications needs
Supports the Customer Success Team in promoting key trainings and assists with execution of the customer satisfaction survey
Works within designated marketing tools, to include: HubSpot, Umbraco, WordPress, SharePoint
Works closely with the Americas Sales Team and other stakeholders to coordinate trade shows and events for the region

Secures booth space and handles all administrative tasks for related services
Facilitates planning meetings to identify key messaging, products and solutions to be highlighted inclusive of presentations, demos, etc.
Coordinates design of booth display in coordination with marketing communications specialists and external design agencies
Manages logistics including shipment of all materials needed, set-up and tear-down
Keeps all stakeholders (booth staff, business partners, etc.) informed of key details
Manages events budget (track expenses) and budgeting follow up
Manages warehousing and inventory for trade show assets
Creates communications and social media posts to promote trade shows and events
Ensures information related to events is made available on the website
Proposes new ideas to improve events

Manages Americas webstore and business gifts including Platinum Customer gift program
Maintains the company's industry organization membership list and ensure dues are paid
Maintains relationships with suppliers (place orders, follow up with purchase orders, invoices, etc.)
Supports theMarketing Communications team in creating purchase orders and processing invoices as needed
Assists with global event coordination as needed
Assists with other marketing duties as needed to support the business

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree (in a related discipline); 1-2 years of previous work experience preferred
Structured, strategic thinker with the ability to be creative in problem solving.
Proficient project management skillset, highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to drive multiple projects/initiatives at once.
Understanding of marketing communications strategies and practices preferably in a B2B environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English.

Strong writing, editing and proofing skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products is a plus
Knowledge of or experience in graphic design a plus
Knowledge of photography/videography a plus

Work Environment

This position will perform a majority of job duties in an office or home office environment where using a computer, telephone and printer are common. This job will require travel (less than 15%) in some instances to visit other customer sites, other company locations and trade show events.
