The Advanced Mobility Team is looking for a Project Manager. Individuals in this role will work in a diverse group of engineering and business associates and will be a key resource for proposal development and delivery of customer projects which leverage TRC’s world class test facilities and personnel. Within the Advanced Mobility Team this individual will support projects ranging from R&D initiatives, execution of standardized tests, and enabling client access to test facilities. It is expected that this will include close collaboration with various internal support groups; including but not limited to: Scheduling Office, Garage Services, Facility Support, Other Service Areas, Purchasing and Business Development. Project Managers are responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate project records to ensure timely and accurate billing of services.
Learn customer test objectives and communicate the objectives to the supporting B.U.’s
Develop work descriptions based upon customers objectives and knowledge of the processes involved
Develop & coordinate project budgets and proposals based upon customer objectives and supporting B.U. inputs
Coordinate project support for efficient and timely use of resources

Other Duties and Responsibilities (Non-Essential Functions)
Develop test plans based upon customer’s objectives and processes involved
Communicate test plans, proposals, non-conformances, and project status to internal and external customers
Manage project budgets
Conduct post-project reviews
Maintain proprietary atmosphere
Perform customer presentation
Travel to offsite customer, trade show, and technical session sites
Support TRC Inc.’s Quality and EH&S (Environmental, Health, and Safety) efforts
Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three years’ related experience
General aptitude and experience in testing and/or research, or project management
Knowledge of processes involved in vehicle testing preferred
Valid driver’s license
Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project) with experience using macros in Excel is a plus
Basic project management skills
Standard office, climate controlled environment
Some travel is required
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers
