On Behalf of a Manufacturer in Barberton, OhioMeansJobs Summit County is currently seeking a Purchasing/Logistics Coordinator
Job Duties include:
- Familiar with Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets (Basic knowledge)
- Create purchase orders in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Our ERP system) and forward by email to vendors. Basic understanding of the flow of purchasing and we will train for this position.
- Review open purchase orders weekly to identify delays.
- Follow up with vendors if deliveries are delayed.
- Work closely with freight forwarders on purchases from outside the US to coordinate deliveries.
- Handle intercompany purchases with our Europe companies as needed.
- Collaborate with Sales & Accounting to create a new workflow for a new product line.
- Duties are not limited to above descriptions.
- Position reports to the Office Manager.
